The “KLETTERSTEIG LOCKSAFE ANSI” triple action carabiner is oval shaped and made of aluminum. The LOCKSAFE option is best used where safety is paramount, as it automatically locks almost instantly and still requires a triple action opening to be detached from the system. This carabiner is for use in complex rope passage applications. The enlarged D-shape also maintains the load along the major axis maximizing resistance. The large size makes it easy to use with gloved hands.
