ASAP - MOBILE FALL ARRESTER

The Petzl ASAP is a mobile fall arrester designed to provide continuous fall protection on a safety rope. Installed on a rope, it follows the user automatically as they move up and down, without manual intervention. In the event of a sudden acceleration, shock load, fall, slide, or uncontrolled descent, the device locks onto the rope and stops the fall. It works on both vertical and slightly inclined ropes and can be combined with a Petzl ASAP’SORBER® or ASAP’SORBER AXESS energy absorber to allow work at a distance from the rope while limiting impact forces. Easy to install or remove at any point on the rope, the ASAP sets a high standard in fall protection for work at height.
