It gently slows branches swinging against the wind and reduces impact shock by 20%, eliminating the so-called “karate effect.” This shock absorber provides effective protection against branch breakage while allowing the braced tree to sway slightly in gentle summer breezes, promoting diameter growth and future branch strength. The low-load sway range is approximately 20 cm, regardless of cable length—a clear advantage over dynamic systems that rely solely on cable extension. The absorber begins to release under a load of 10 daN (10 kg).
